Pros

Was able to work from home in another state

Cons

Princess used to be such an awesome company to work for. A lot of people were proud to be part of the Princess family. Over the last few years, those on the executive level only raved about how much money we were making though the employees just kept seeing their benefits being taken away. Then out of nowhere, a series of huge layoffs occurred and we were suddenly seeing our jobs being handed to off-shore contractors who didn't know the product. Seniority, merit...none of it mattered. Leadership was not transparent and lead many of us to believe we were being considered for new roles when in fact, they had already signed the paperwork that we were being let go. My impression of the company absolutely tanked after Jan Swartz was replaced by John Padgett. We were no longer focusing on making cruising a great opportunity for all, and instead looking for ways to nickel and dime anyone who wanted to book with us. Absolutely heart-breaking.

Pros

You get to see a lot of different ports; you don't have to worry about food or paying for your room and board. You get to meet varies people from around the world.

Cons

The pay is not the best for people living in the USA. The job is still enjoyable, and the experience is worth it but this is better as a fresh out of high school or college type of role, or in a sense a way to "backpack through Europe" kind of job.
