Pros

Working in the cruise industry is fun, and PCL offers good perks. Large company with designated teams for pretty much anything.

Cons

As fun as the cruise industry is, the company itself is rather old-school. Lots of politics and unnecessary meetings. Pay is also lower than you'd find elsewhere.

Pros

You get to see a lot of different ports; you don't have to worry about food or paying for your room and board. You get to meet varies people from around the world.

Cons

The pay is not the best for people living in the USA. The job is still enjoyable, and the experience is worth it but this is better as a fresh out of high school or college type of role, or in a sense a way to "backpack through Europe" kind of job.
