Pros

Colleagues are competent, dedicated and accomplished.

Cons

The board and executive leadership are awful. No appreciation, just blame. They're hiring 10-20 people a month which is obviously unsustainable. They are more interested with buying out the competition then run those companies into the ground. All the new hires are 'yes' men with only a talent for stroking egos and vomiting buzz words. Recently more layoffs of actual talent. I feel horrible about the great people who have been supporting Procare for several years and get treated like trash.

Pros

I truly enjoyed my time at Procare. Everyone was so nice and helpful. Joining this organization for a brief time was one of the best experiences I've had.

Cons

The pay is low and most work a hybrid schedule.

Pros

I appreciate the mission, the talented people here, and the impact our software has on schools, daycares, families, and educators. There is a lot to be proud of in the work itself.

Cons

A recent policy change requires employees who take parental leave to return to work for six months or repay the leave compensation they received. As a current employee, I think future parents should know this upfront because it adds financial pressure during an already vulnerable time. It feels especially ironic at a company whose software directly serves children, families, and educators. It also feels out of step with the direction many strong tech employers are moving in, with more generous parental leave and family support.
