Pros
I have worked at the Charlotte, NC office at PSP for nearly a year and have nothing but a positive experience. In the first week, management provides you with in depth training and the necessary tools to be very successful. The atmosphere is great, as you get to be in the middle of the action around all of your peers and not trapped in a cubicle all day. Being around your co-workers not only allows you to learn from others, but also creates a positive sense of competitiveness and drive that helps everybody be successful. Management is nothing but support and is always willing to help and provide feedback to everybody in order to make you as good at the job as you can be. The branch manager in Charlotte, Jack Thompson, is one of the nicest people you will meet, and is always taking time out of his day to interact with everybody and be as hands on as possible with his employees. The base salary is great, and with the opportunity for commission and bonuses, the job gives you the financial security that you need to enjoy life outside of the office. The company also does happy hour events and other team building events outside of the office, which helps you mesh with your coworkers and give you a chance to socialize with everybody outside of the office setting. If you are willing to work hard and be a positive member of the office, you will reap the many benefits that PSP has to offer!
Cons
Like any other job in sales, you have to get used to some rejection. You're not going to sell every single person, but that's just a fact of the sales world.
