Pros
One positive aspect of the job at PSP was working with your coworkers. They were supportive, and working with them was enjoyable.
Cons
The job required making 200+ calls per day, and internet access was restricted until a sales target of $15k was reached, which seemed outdated in today's business environment. The management structure, especially at the upper levels, felt rigid, limiting growth opportunities. The role of an inside sales rep involved repetitive tasks with minimal guidance or continuous learning. While there were limited meetings with the manager to discuss growth, feedback on individual performance and improvement strategies were lacking. It often felt like personal growth depended on observing long-time employees rather than receiving constructive guidance from your manager. I observed a concerning trend in employee turnover, especially among new hires in training classes where everyone would quit within the first 5 months. People were let go for what seemed like trivial reasons, and the process lacked transparency. It felt like the company often used subtle reasons to terminate employees, especially when new training classes were introduced. Unfortunately, there was a lack of clear communication regarding performance expectations, making it challenging to understand and strive for growth in the role. I would STRONGLY advise against considering employment at PSP. The guidance provided by management is setting you up for failure, and the overall work environment is toxic. Potential employees may want to explore opportunities elsewhere where guidance and work culture are more supportive.
