Pros

The best part of Progress is the people. You’ll meet smart, supportive colleagues who genuinely want to do good work together. Everyone is genuinely kind.

Cons

The culture has undergone significant shifts over the years. Favoritism plays a role in advancement and opportunities, and it’s not always easy to voice differing opinions without concern for how it will be received. The company runs lean, so teams are often stretched thin with limited resources and long hours. Layoffs occur regularly, creating a sense of instability. Innovation feels stagnant. Acquisitions are made, but there’s little investment in integrating or improving the products. Leadership messaging is “people first,” but decisions often reflect a more business-driven vision.
