Pros

Interesting sector of real estate Company is well managed on the business side Great financial outlook Cool projects going on in Research, ESG and Prologis Ventures Conservativeness can definitely be a pro because the professionalism means there are boundaries

Cons

The culture in the SF office is a bit toxic , very top-down and places a lot of value on optics, though they are making pushes to get away from that. It will depend a lot on your manager what your experience will be like because a lot of the heads of departments aren't really great people and will throw employees under the bus but a handful are pretty terrific and very much worth following. Culture is very different by team and work/life balance also depends on your manager. Compensation is under market for roles outside of senior leadership. There's also a lot of petty drama that goes on. San Francisco has so many well-performing companies that Prologis' bright financial outlook may not be enough to make up for the dreary day-to-day culture.

I’m sorry you had a bad experience here. While we are not perfect, we do work hard every day to nurture a culture that positions our people for success. That said, not every organization is a good fit for every employee, and vice versa. Since you mentioned culture, it’s worth noting that in our latest employee engagement survey more than 90 percent of our employees said they are super psyched to work at Prologis. Please feel free to reach out to me directly to discuss any of this. We wish you the best of luck in your career!

Pros

Opportunity to work with large customers with exposure to many facets of real estate. Significant emphasis on teamwork and collaboration. You don't feel like you are on an island. Managers and management seek feedback. They do not want employees to suffer in silence. Many opportunities across different functions of the company.

Cons

Fast paced environment can create project fatigue. Priorities can shift quickly based on market conditions and customer demands.

Pros

As a Maintenance Technician, I take pride in helping maintain some of the highest-quality industrial and commercial properties in the industry. It’s rewarding to know that my work directly contributes to our customers’ success and operational efficiency. Working for Prologis means being part of an organization that prioritizes safety, training, and operational excellence. Having the right tools, resources, and support allows me to perform my job effectively and safely. I’m proud to be part of a team that values its people and invests in maintaining best-in-class facilities. I have the opportunity to solve problems, support our customers, and contribute to the overall success of our properties every day. I play an important role in ensuring our buildings remain safe, reliable, and operating at a high standard. It’s rewarding to know that my work helps support the supply chains and businesses that keep the economy moving.

Cons

The expectations for building maintenance and customer service are high, which can make for busy days, but it also creates opportunities to learn and develop new skills. Depending on the property portfolio, there may be times when multiple priorities need attention at once, requiring strong time-management and problem-solving skills.
