Pros
Great opportunity to get some clinical experience and work alongside physicians. A good way to get letters of recommendation. Sometimes pharma reps come in and bring breakfast/lunch for everyone.
Cons
They might assign you to a clinic that is far from you. Pay is low at $9/hr. There seems to be a lot of miscommunication between the clinics and managers/site coordinators. If the provider you work with takes the day off, you're off too which can be a good thing but you miss out on hours. Training is long and difficult. I don't think you really need to know everything that you're expected to know in training for the job. The job can get boring after awhile, very repetitive. They deduct the price of the scrubs ($50) from your first paycheck (they don't tell you that during training). You might not get to pick up shifts or get your shift picked up when you want.
