Pros

Great place to get your feet wet with healthcare. Position can be challenging but rewarding for those who put time and effort into the job. Proscribe also has extreme flexibility.

Cons

Doctors can be challenging and entry level scribes should be paid a little more.

Pros

-The opportunity to work alongside doctors and advanced practitioners across many specialties. - Offer both full-time and part-time opportunities. One of the specialties we provide services for is emergency medicine which requires 24/7 coverage. This increases the possibility of finding availability/shifts that work for you. - Exposure to multiple EMRs - Exposure to countless medical terminology - The ability to learn about bedside manner practices - Virtual and onsite opportunities available - Advancement opportunities - Scribing experience looks great on your resume/CV, especially if you're considering pursuing a career in the medical field. - Opportunity to obtain letters of recommendation

Cons

- You will likely be working in a very fast-paced, high-stress environment which can be a lot to take in for some people. Personally, the benefits far outweigh the cons. If you are considering pursuing a career in the medical field you should be prepared for that type of work environment either way.
