Pros

You get experience the hectic life of the healthcare system.

Cons

-Poor management. -The computer based training is thorough, but abysmal and does not apply to real world scenarios. -Took them 1 month to even initiate in job training. Was hired and they gave me the run around for a full month until my training was assigned, and even then the 4 days of training were spread out in 4 weeks because they didn't have anyone available to train me. The worst part is that the people who trained me were random scribes that they scrounged up and I could tell were not experienced nor expecting to be training someone. -The company has a borderline scam contract that you have to sign, if you terminate your employment within the first 6 months for whatever reason they fine you. - Abysmal compensation, minimum wage during training. One of the company representatives had the audacity to threaten me with legal action after I was fed up with their inaction and quit after three months for breach of contract. I informed them to take it off my last paycheck because I didn't see that paycheck 1 full month after I quit. The very next day I saw that paycheck being deposited. -No breaks given for the full 8 hour shifts This has to be one of the seediest companies I have had the displeasure of working for, and I have worked at a gas station, which ironically paid more and actually accommodated for a student's schedule.
