Business Outlook
Pros
Can do meaningful work with interesting customers and programs in state government and education. The company continues to grow even through a down economy. Teams can be relatively flat and retain a small-company feel. Reputation for expertise in the market. New staffers can find themselves in high-profile roles on projects. The training is there but it's up to the individual to go after it.
Cons
Despite growth and program excellence, operational and technology support seemed limited for a company of this size. Last-minute fire drills were too common and were a drain. Benefits OK but the wait for 401(k) enrollment was a big negative.
