Pros

Ok if you come in at the BA level

Cons

My first day at PCG, I was invited to lunch by one of the "stars" of the company. She took me out and proceeded to run down the list of people in our office and tell me everything wrong with them and how they would ultimately fail at PCG. This became characteristic of my entire PCG experience. In my time at PCG, I experienced a daily barrage of insults and abuse from my manager. A lady who couldn't figure out basic technology would send requests to my personal email account during the work day and call me to yell at me for not responding. It was psychotic on a level I've never seen before in a professional setting. I was there for nearly a year before I went to "consultant training" which was an absolute joke. The most important thing I learned from consultant training was that everyone else there had been at PCG for just about as long and was as unhappy - we all shared stories of mistreatment by our superiors. It was actually nice because I finally felt less alone in my experience, but also when I knew that the work environment was so toxic that staying would not be an option. Management doesn't care what goes on as long as they get their *unlimited* bonuses while the rest of us fight over the scraps. They are charging $200+/hour for consulting work. For comparison, other firms are usually charging between $80-$175/hour for similar work. The company is a contributor to government waste and can't see beyond its own profits. Sexism is rampant. The environment is very clique-ish. The "stars" are usually very bad people with very little moral compass. In my time there, I was in an office of less than 15 people. Within a year, six (maybe more?) left. That tells you everything you need to know about this dumpster fire of a company.

Pros

Really enjoyed my teammates, we all tried surviving the ever rotation of projects and assignments that were given to us that didn’t have clear direction or instructions.

Cons

Had to take leave due to mental exhaustion and anxiety due to this job. Constantly was being told because we made salary to be expected to work past our scheduled hours. Was always told to voice when I was at capacity and had enough on my plate, and when I did, I was just given more. Senior managers undermined my work, would throw you under the bus if they messed up and needed a scapegoat. Communication team to team was so awful, even the products are just a mess. Just the worst place that I’ve ever worked. Some teams had fought for years to get more people hired on their teams to help with the load they were given, and were never listened to, then higher ups were shocked when they all left.
