Recent College Grads, Don't Be Fooled - Business Analyst Public Consulting Group Employee Review

Pros

The individuals that worked along side me in the trenches. We all had an understanding that PCG was a toxic place to work. One where BAs and Ops do all of the leg work. This is not how other companies operate. PCG will not survive as a viable, progressive company because they refer to and treat employees as "resources".

Cons

As one review put it, it is a pyramid scheme. If you can survive by stepping on others and fitting into the culture of toxicity, sexism and secretivity then, your deeds will be rewarded. If you speak out regarding the abuse then you will be ostracized and forced out. Anyone with half a brain can see the reviews are padded, with management asking people to write reviews. If you are a recent college grad with any other viable offers, I encourage you to save yourself the misery of working at PCG. You can do better. For current employees reading these reviews for entertainment, know there is life beyond PCG. Use the skills you've gained to find another job.

Pros

Really enjoyed my teammates, we all tried surviving the ever rotation of projects and assignments that were given to us that didn’t have clear direction or instructions.

Cons

Had to take leave due to mental exhaustion and anxiety due to this job. Constantly was being told because we made salary to be expected to work past our scheduled hours. Was always told to voice when I was at capacity and had enough on my plate, and when I did, I was just given more. Senior managers undermined my work, would throw you under the bus if they messed up and needed a scapegoat. Communication team to team was so awful, even the products are just a mess. Just the worst place that I’ve ever worked. Some teams had fought for years to get more people hired on their teams to help with the load they were given, and were never listened to, then higher ups were shocked when they all left.
