Pros
Great benefits and pay. Lots of opportunity to move around (not always up). Administrative staff is a lot of fun to work with and really great sense of teamwork. Public Health administration is in the midst of a major overhall and its really great for the community and the department.
Cons
Can be very rumor milled. If you supervisor isn't great try to transfer. The hours that are advertised are the hours you will need to work. Same with pay the starting pay for the most part is what they will expect you to start at.
