Pros

Nice CS supervisors with good intentions. They have it worse than a lot of peole there. Unfornutely, zero support from higher management makes the company a nightmare.

Cons

Below average pay. Constant layoffs from new CEOs and other high positions being new to the company. Many well established higher management that were good are now at other companies after jumping ship. New management doesn't care about anyone helping the company provide good service, only trying to save every penny possible. Company going downhill extremely quick. Staff suffers, service suffers, increase losses and more layoffs. Don't bother contacting HR. Anybody good is also gone already and whoever is left either doesnt care either or is awful at their job just trying to get out too.

Pros

PPL is a growing organization that has seen a huge culture shift in the last few years. There is a lot of opportunity for people who want to come in and work hard and be successful. Recent hires have been really focused on making sure they match the culture and "why" of the organization, meaning that people are here for the right reason. Great remote-first environment.

Cons

With growth comes growing pains, because there are so many shifting opportunities, it is a lot to balance making sure everything is done correctly.

Pros

People really care and have a personal "why" attached to the mission of PPL. The culture is one of collaboration and building each other up. It's an "all hands on deck" atmosphere with a LOT of hands ready to help whenever it's needed. The opportunities to grow your career are endless, and leadership is very attuned to making sure you're headed in the right direction for the next step.

Cons

I think being fully remote has pros and cons - it's hard not to be able to build those in-person relationships sometimes, though they try to get teams together when possible.
