Pros
Besides the fact that the product is the future, i love that everyone is open and everything is on the table. if there are any arguments they are about how to get better which eventually leads to a better product. I am managing two big projects right now and i get real support. even when i went for a two weeks vacation i trained another project manager and when i got back i felt like i never left. i barley got any emails during my time out and was able to totally relax. This company offers long term opportunities. 90 % of their employees have been with the company for years. Whoever succeeds in their first year will most likely stay for a long period of time. the company's focus on BPM (business process management) calls for additional requirements from project managers. the work includes great responsibilities because we work with big organizations around the world. I started with managing smaller projects and then continued to bigger projects. whoever is not cut out to having responsibilities and teamwork will not be able to fulfill the standards. but whoever is able to fulfill them will have his door opened to a great enterprise world with all its depth.
Cons
In the beginning the salary is not the highest it can be but it does go up. some employees travel often (depending on the job) but if you are not built for it you will find your place and position that doesn't require travel.
