Pros

The people (everyone below the Director level) The discount

Cons

Right now QVC is in a total state of confusion. One day they are "a unicorn", and the next they are "the same as Amazon". The product selection has really deteriorated. I'm not sure they are doing enough to win younger customers or retain younger employees, who realize there is better out there once they get a peek behind the curtain. They seriously lack homegrown senior leadership, which is essential to maintaining the culture. Some managers and directors won't allow anyone to work from home.

Pros

Only pros - wfh and you get a nice discount

Cons

Everything else. Management/corporate have unrealistic kpis. You can only use the rr during your SCHEDULED break. You have to offer a sale to EVERY CALLER even if they are already upset. You can NOT hang up even if the customer is screaming/offending you. My manager once said I should’ve been more patient. Mind you the customer was already using foul language and belittling me. I POLITELY asked the customer to please refrain from using that kind of language. It continued and I told her I would have to release the call. Also you stop getting a raise after 2 years. You cap at $17/hr.
