Pros

Easy reliable work. good benefits. good pay rate

Cons

Management is just plain awful, simply the worst. They make a big deal in training about things you can and can't do, really drill it into your head, stuff like" don't accept returns after the return period is over" or "if a customer is irate and demands a manager, transfer them over". Then you get on the floor and one of those events comes up, and boy do the managers treat you badly. one time a manager got on the phone and out and out told the customer that the customer service rep that was following company protocol was just too stupid and lazy to break the returns policy. another time a customer, angry and shouting, asked to talk to a manager, so i called the manager per typical procedure. Manager answered and asked what the problem was. When i said they were irate and were demanding a manager and didn't want to talk to me, she said "well that's not problem" and hung up on me. Needless to say the customer cussed me out because the manager couldn't be bothered to do her job. On occasion you get really bad customers who cuss you out or call you retarded.
