They make choices based on extremely flawed systems. You will work holidays. You will work weekends and you will work nights. They can tell you no if you ask off for a holiday and they will They love burn out. Even though you “only work four days a week” you are essentially always on call. They will text you to cover a shift or fill in on your three day weekend. If you work Fridays or Saturdays or nights, that three day weekend becomes a two day weekend because you spend it catching up Extremely cliquey Promotions are popularity contests If you aren’t extroverted or outgoing do not expect to go anywhere Lots of gossip and can not trust management
