Pros

Many coworkers were great, and are now life long friends/family. Pay and benefits were decent. At the time vacation and PTO were separate (this has since changed and they are now combined). Location was fairly convenient. Occasional ability to work from home. Gained a ton of experience, similar to if I had worked at a different job every couple of years.

Cons

Some coworkers were useless and others were the definition of "gossip"/drama. There was definitely some favoritism. Unable to consistently work from home (this has likely changed in the last couple years). At the time, AGILE wasn't fully implemented with large 20+ person scrum teams. Work was rarely, if ever, planned out efficiently. With "urgent" issues taking priority rather frequently. This may have changed in the last few years, but it's hard for me to imagine.

Pros

Only pros - wfh and you get a nice discount

Cons

Everything else. Management/corporate have unrealistic kpis. You can only use the rr during your SCHEDULED break. You have to offer a sale to EVERY CALLER even if they are already upset. You can NOT hang up even if the customer is screaming/offending you. My manager once said I should’ve been more patient. Mind you the customer was already using foul language and belittling me. I POLITELY asked the customer to please refrain from using that kind of language. It continued and I told her I would have to release the call. Also you stop getting a raise after 2 years. You cap at $17/hr.
