Pros

Qvc gives many incentives to employees which helps tremendously. The company is very diverse when it comes to cultures, religion/spirituality or just your way of life.

Cons

The customers are very rude. You will get yelled at and belittled over something as simple as a certain color of a top being sold out and you’re not allowed to say anything except apologize or you can get a low quality score. They let customers talk horribly to you and you have to give them 3 chances to stop before letting them know you will disconnect the call. The company adds more and more stuff for you to say to the customer during a simple order and they never raise the AHT. The customer does not want to be asked multiple times during a call if they want to add a particular item to the order. One time is enough. They also drop your hours whenever they want if you are flex. The pay is very low for everything you need to do. Place orders and help with customer service calls which is on 90% of the calls you get. I could go on and on about the things I dislike but I will be here all day if I did.

Pros

Only pros - wfh and you get a nice discount

Cons

Everything else. Management/corporate have unrealistic kpis. You can only use the rr during your SCHEDULED break. You have to offer a sale to EVERY CALLER even if they are already upset. You can NOT hang up even if the customer is screaming/offending you. My manager once said I should’ve been more patient. Mind you the customer was already using foul language and belittling me. I POLITELY asked the customer to please refrain from using that kind of language. It continued and I told her I would have to release the call. Also you stop getting a raise after 2 years. You cap at $17/hr.
