Pros

Coworkers are the best part. Remote work

Cons

Insultingly low pay Impossible metrics No work-life balance This is a soul-sucking, depressing job. The pay is an insult, especially considering what is expected. QVC doesn't care about their customers or their employees. It's a revolving door of new people because the metrics and attendance expectations are inconceivable. Work-life balance is a joke. You are chained to a desk in your home office, taking one demeaning call after another. And once you've "pointed out," they have no issues firing you. Why? Because another class of hopefuls is already training. It's beyond stressful, and they couldn't care less. It is obvious you're just a number here.

Pros

Only pros - wfh and you get a nice discount

Cons

Everything else. Management/corporate have unrealistic kpis. You can only use the rr during your SCHEDULED break. You have to offer a sale to EVERY CALLER even if they are already upset. You can NOT hang up even if the customer is screaming/offending you. My manager once said I should’ve been more patient. Mind you the customer was already using foul language and belittling me. I POLITELY asked the customer to please refrain from using that kind of language. It continued and I told her I would have to release the call. Also you stop getting a raise after 2 years. You cap at $17/hr.
