Pros
- Small company with lots of opportunities to make a mark for yourself. - Almost full autonomy (if you're into that kind of thing). - This team has some really smart, talented, and dedicated people. - Lots of young talent that is ready to excel. - The benefits are okay, but not great either.
Cons
While QLess has had every opportunity to become a great company, they've decided to make every wrong decision a company could make. They've made a toxic smoothie consisting of: - Paying people below market average, leading to the best employees leaving and failing to backfill - Bringing in unnecessary executives team members with exorbitant salaries who don't deliver anything except more work for people - Creating an environment where employees are constantly reminded that they could be let go any day (so better work even harder, right!) - Taking advantage of younger employees who don't know better - Total lack of communication between departments, leading to the occasional name calling and violent rhetoric
