Pros

IT management is capable and understanding. They do their best to help you grow into whatever role you are looking for.

As a fast growing company they were struggling with planning, scoping, and assigning workloads.

Pros

They offer food. Not only cup noodles, chips, or burritos in the break room, but my boss would also personally ask us what we want from Starbucks, or bring us coffee, or donuts, and when we help at grand openings, quick quack orders food such as Sourdough and Company, McDonalds, Chick-fil-A and more. You’re also surrounded by really friendly people that you get close too over the months since quick quack relies on teamwork to run the store. We also have monthly meetings where we gather and a holiday dinner and gift exchange. My former boss was also really supportive and recognized people’s skills, helping workers go from regular employees to assistant managers to store leaders. There’s a lot of opportunity for growth at this job.

Cons

Quick quack had us working outside a lot so we were sometimes in the intense heat of summer or the cold of winter. Even in rain we operated the store, so we would be outside changing the trash and replenishing towels in the rain

Pros

Good pay, Snacks, Get to be outside, Getting to hand out ducks and stickers to families, sometimes see pets

Cons

Favoritism, Accomodations, Working outside of your pay (a lot of mechanical unsafe maintenance involved for someone who wasn’t told that would be part of the job at all), Dangerous, Having to stick to an approach and getting written up if you change the wording, even for using “which” instead of “what” like they want. Micromanaged, not being paid the same as my coworkers because they know management personally. (3-4 $ differences), not being able to get my shifts covered due to legitimate issues but my coworkers being able to take days off whenever due to knowing management personally
