Pros

You really get opportunities to learn all sorts of things. You can greatly improve your sales techniques while becoming more handy with tools and equipment you may not have experienced at other jobs. Working in a smaller team, you really get to know your coworkers and built friendships that extend past work. Definitely the best job I’ve had.

Cons

The main thing that stresses me and others out is maintaining a certain amount of sales on a discipline system rather than a reward system. Rewards are still granted if the overall team reaches a monthly goal, but you’re at risk of losing hours if you personally don’t meet a sales standard that is sometimes out of your control. Another downside is how rude customers can be when they have a car door between them and you.

Pros

Good pay, Snacks, Get to be outside, Getting to hand out ducks and stickers to families, sometimes see pets

Cons

Favoritism, Accomodations, Working outside of your pay (a lot of mechanical unsafe maintenance involved for someone who wasn’t told that would be part of the job at all), Dangerous, Having to stick to an approach and getting written up if you change the wording, even for using “which” instead of “what” like they want. Micromanaged, not being paid the same as my coworkers because they know management personally. (3-4 $ differences), not being able to get my shifts covered due to legitimate issues but my coworkers being able to take days off whenever due to knowing management personally
