      Pros

      They take care of their employees. Paid well. It’s multi Generational. My child is the third generation working there. Room for advancement, wonderful people, there are so many wonderful things. Had I not moved I would have retired there.

      Pros

      A co-op does look decent on a résumé.

      Cons

      Instead of being mentored, interns and co-ops were treated as disposable labor. The work was repetitive and low-level, with no effort made to teach or grow technical skills. It felt like being used to fill gaps without recognition or credit, which defeated the purpose of joining a co-op in the first place.
