      Pay, HR, fellow employees are mean and bossy, mandatory overtime, supervisor treat employees that don't work hard better than employees that do. They expect you to do slackers work.

      A co-op does look decent on a résumé.

      Cons

      Instead of being mentored, interns and co-ops were treated as disposable labor. The work was repetitive and low-level, with no effort made to teach or grow technical skills. It felt like being used to fill gaps without recognition or credit, which defeated the purpose of joining a co-op in the first place.
