Pros
The work environment is relaxed both in terms of attire and atmosphere. Different backgrounds and a lot to learn in terms of Medical Billing. You'll gain the experience working with different types of insurance and it's invaluable.
Cons
Some things seem a bit suspicious in terms bonus and promotion opportunity. When I was released, it was just a few days before receiving a ($3000) referral bonus. I wasn't given much of a reason except performance issues. Even then, I had no real problem believing that, but once I discovered one of the best workers was being released too with no real reason cited, I discovered that they too were only a few days away from receiving that bonus. Another thing is the fluctuation in productivity demands. It seems the job is based on averages. In other words, if someone works well beyond the average number of 20 accounts (say they did 80), the average bumps up to 30-40 accounts. And they really apply the pressure about it.
