      Pros

      was working from home office and peaceful, occasional supervisor or co-worker checked on me. Enjoyed helping people setting up appointments and requirements to make those go smoothly.

      Cons

      the constant upper management complaining worried about their reports and logistics with absolutely not a care about the patients or their staff.

      The voluntary separation offer was good.

      Cons

      I and hundreds of colleagues were transferred from Providence Health & Services to R1. We were told we were guaranteed our jobs for a year. They started offering voluntary separation packages less than a year in. This was suspicious. I didn't take the first couple of offers, but eventually I did - things were feeling uneasy. Since leaving I've heard that there were several layoffs. R1's India team has taken over a lot of the coding we were doing. In the reviews I read before we started with R1 I know losing jobs to the India team was common. I'm glad I left when I did but it's been hard finding a new job.
