Pros

absolutely nothing, other than the other unfortunate souls who took a job here along with you that you feel bad for when you leave and they still have to be there.

Cons

Everything is wrong with this company, starting all the way up to the top with senior management and trickling all the way down to everyone else who works there. Even if you establish a nice little bubble of success in your own group, you will eventually be negatively affected by your horrible surroundings. Major issues here include management having inappropriate sexual relationships with other management and their employees, supervisor/employee/friend conflicts of interest, unfair/unequal treatment and discrimination of different employees at the same level, alcohol in the office, HR and C-level execs being a part of the problem...there are too many things to list and count. The company recently rebranded, probably in hopes of hiding some of these issues or trying to start over, but the foundation is still rotten. Managers are in desperate need of leadership training -- they have absolutely no idea how to do their jobs. Don't do it!

Pros

The voluntary separation offer was good.

Cons

I and hundreds of colleagues were transferred from Providence Health & Services to R1. We were told we were guaranteed our jobs for a year. They started offering voluntary separation packages less than a year in. This was suspicious. I didn't take the first couple of offers, but eventually I did - things were feeling uneasy. Since leaving I've heard that there were several layoffs. R1's India team has taken over a lot of the coding we were doing. In the reviews I read before we started with R1 I know losing jobs to the India team was common. I'm glad I left when I did but it's been hard finding a new job.
