Pros

-Pay was good for the area -Parking lot in downtown (a miracle) -Cell phone data plan and some mileage reimbursement -Several team lunches -Good 3 week paid training program -Did offer help with job placement and resume workshops

Cons

-Went through the ringer with the AG lawsuit in MN and had to find out everything from the news -Shift change once a week where you had to work an 11-8, and rotating Fridays. -Never got into the clinic -Right by a sketchy area of downtown and there was always construction -Lack of communication to employees about changes -Unstable business practices -Dealing with non-compete clauses

Pros

The voluntary separation offer was good.

Cons

I and hundreds of colleagues were transferred from Providence Health & Services to R1. We were told we were guaranteed our jobs for a year. They started offering voluntary separation packages less than a year in. This was suspicious. I didn't take the first couple of offers, but eventually I did - things were feeling uneasy. Since leaving I've heard that there were several layoffs. R1's India team has taken over a lot of the coding we were doing. In the reviews I read before we started with R1 I know losing jobs to the India team was common. I'm glad I left when I did but it's been hard finding a new job.
