Pros

Casual dress code, jeans allowed everyday

Cons

Honestly there are so many it is hard to include them all. You get "graded" on when you take your breaks/lunches - if it is not within 3 minutes of the given time you will be marked down. But how can we control when we get a call and when we get off one? No sick days, no personal days. You'll get marked down if so, a girl on my team was being harassed and got marked down for it. Another girls apartment had gotten broken into the night before and was late, another occurrence. The supervisors are jokes, no schooling and no management history. We have emergencies and get marked down, yet they can leave in the middle of their shifts all the time and not come back. They say that they will love to help you move up in the company but NEVER follow through. You'll get marked down from the EMT team on things that are not required or on the scripting anymore.

Pros

The voluntary separation offer was good.

Cons

I and hundreds of colleagues were transferred from Providence Health & Services to R1. We were told we were guaranteed our jobs for a year. They started offering voluntary separation packages less than a year in. This was suspicious. I didn't take the first couple of offers, but eventually I did - things were feeling uneasy. Since leaving I've heard that there were several layoffs. R1's India team has taken over a lot of the coding we were doing. In the reviews I read before we started with R1 I know losing jobs to the India team was common. I'm glad I left when I did but it's been hard finding a new job.
