Pros

Well-organized and competitive pay. Room for growth within the company.

Cons

Very high turnover rate. When I requested better PPE, they refused and dragged their feet. They told me they were for doctors and nurses only despite the job requiring close patient contact. Absolutely abysmal. Many lawsuits are going to be filed. Do NOT work for this company if you value your life.

The voluntary separation offer was good.

Cons

I and hundreds of colleagues were transferred from Providence Health & Services to R1. We were told we were guaranteed our jobs for a year. They started offering voluntary separation packages less than a year in. This was suspicious. I didn't take the first couple of offers, but eventually I did - things were feeling uneasy. Since leaving I've heard that there were several layoffs. R1's India team has taken over a lot of the coding we were doing. In the reviews I read before we started with R1 I know losing jobs to the India team was common. I'm glad I left when I did but it's been hard finding a new job.
