Pros
They have done some education that really help a lot.
Cons
Not sure what SMART goal setting is for, when you can strive to do your very best and the most you can get is still less than an 0.50/hr. increase. They'd rather pay for the work to be done in India where it costs them much, much less. They are not fair across the board. I was forced into Same Day coding...while one worker stayed in Ancillary and she doesn't get audited like the rest of us do. The audits have burned me out. I also started with a really great Hospital and after two years they were acquired by R1 and since then, instead of the great yearly raises, I get less than half of what I previously received. Not much incentive to keep going with them when in another 10 years, I still won't be making what my co-workers are making now.
