Pros

Good Benefits, Vacation Time, Pay decent

Cons

Depend on who you are "individually" you will not advance within this organization when management & upper mgmt is involved, regardless of how long you've been dedicated to working for this organization. They need to get rid of management and upper management who's running this organization. Possibly due to underhanded racism, do the research and check the percentage of who's employed "on-shore within the USA" outside of the off-shore teams. And you have your answer..

Pros

The voluntary separation offer was good.

Cons

I and hundreds of colleagues were transferred from Providence Health & Services to R1. We were told we were guaranteed our jobs for a year. They started offering voluntary separation packages less than a year in. This was suspicious. I didn't take the first couple of offers, but eventually I did - things were feeling uneasy. Since leaving I've heard that there were several layoffs. R1's India team has taken over a lot of the coding we were doing. In the reviews I read before we started with R1 I know losing jobs to the India team was common. I'm glad I left when I did but it's been hard finding a new job.
