Pros
Small laid back organisation - not much work pressure. If you're placed in a project as a billable resource, even if your performance is below average, you're safe - unless of course there are customer complaints against you. If you have the urge to learn, this is a good place to be in. Since resources are limited, you would come across opportunities where you would have to learn new languages, applications on your own and use your knowledge in live projects. Organisation provides a good work life balance - good number of leaves - 14 paid vacations, 7 sick days and 10 casual leaves besides the 10 official holidays! Finally, this is a Kolkata based company and in Kolkata the cost of living is lower compared to the other metros.
Cons
The organisation is not transparent as far as compensation & benefits are concerned - no set rules / guidelines. So if you decide to join this organisation, be sure to negotiate your position & compensation package. Once you're in, very little would be decided based on policy / guidelines. Most will be decided on who you know within the organisation. Also this being a small organization with little growth, chances of your growth as a professional or in terms of compensation would also be limited even though you may be a stellar performer! Opportunities are limited, be it onsite postings or more challenging roles.
