Pros
-Lots of free leftover food -FREE T-SHIRTS! -Easy to take time off for personal errands -Good vacation policy / work life balance -Great training available if your boss will actually let you participate. Often signing up for a training results in your manager cancelling it at the last minute so you can stay on the phones. You will of course be forced to participate in the Kool-aid training.
Cons
-You will be on the phone ALL DAY EVERY DAY answering technical calls and general calls that overflow to your phone -Lots of Kool-aid drinkers -Great job for slackers -Pay is substandard -The only good part of the culture in the Austin office is when Sugar Bear visited. San Antonio definitely has way more fun. -Its hard to move up unless you are buddy buddy with your team lead. Your skill and performance are less valuable than your sheer time in at the company or who you know and how much you have in common. In many cases people are told that if you want to level up you will have to quit and reapply for the more advanced position.
