Pros
4-week PTO right out the gate when I worked there. 100% remote work
Cons
If you interview for GDCI just run or treat it like a disposable second job. The reward for good work is more work. Don't go out of your way to support the management here. They'll throw every reason at you as to why they can't give you more money. The line managers are absolutely a bunch of spineless yes men for their leadership. Surprised they manage to even stand up on their own two feet. Don't bother asking your boss for help either. When they say, "can I do anything to help", it's nothing but empty platitudes and lip service. The only thing I learned there is to not care about improving the network, cause the leadership doesn't either. The more you care, the more heartache you're going to encounter. It'll be a never-ending uphill battle for little pay and even less appreciation for what you do. There's literally no reason to go above and beyond. Place is a sinking ship as evidenced by their tanking stock price and it takes them ages to get anything done. Their engineering team is still being held together by a select few talented individuals. Have no idea why they stay. Maybe they're staying for the up-close and personal fireworks show. It's a mystery to me and I don't care to think about Rackspace anymore.
