Pros
I can't say that there are any pros of working here. Some might consider the bonus structure a pro at best.
Cons
I was headhunted to work here. I left a job that I had been very successful at to work as a recruiter for Randstad. Everything in the interview process was great. They were extremely kind and responsive, unfortunately that did not extend to my on boarding process, which was basically non existent. On my first day my manager couldn't even be bothered to show me where to access the online W2 form in the internal system. He also disregarded my requests for help with finding the direct deposit form in the internal system. I was thrown on the phone day 2 and given metrics for the week. These metrics were so lofty a colleague had to help me complete them for the week. There is no training here. This is a complete trial by fire job. The metrics are extremely aggressive, and if you don't hit them, even as a new hire, corporate will email you and inform you that you can be terminated if you miss metrics four times. In my brief time here, I never once felt Randstad cares about its people. They seem to have an immensely high turn over rate as well. Two employees were terminated a week prior to my start date for missing metrics. This company only seems to care about how much and how fast its employees can produce for it before they hit burnout. Nothing about this position is indicative to actual recruiting either. You are placing candidates in awful contracts which they will likely leave before the contract is up. Do not work here.
