Pros
Most of the people that work there are nice. If you really like hitting the booze, or seeing other people hit the booze (sometimes before lunch), this is the place for you!
Cons
The biggest issue in the company is that management don't trust the people they've hired to do their jobs. I saw a large number of people given no real support or help, just to be micro-managed when they couldn't divine what management wanted them to do. Regardless of whether they figure out what management want or not, if anything goes south, the executive team are very quick to point the finger at everyone else when stuff isn't going well. I personally think this explains why they recently made a large number of people redundant. They're really focused on features / churn at the expense of quality, which isn't a bad thing, but the rate they actually turn features out is incredibly slow. Anytime something's close to being finished, expect eight stakeholders (in a fifty person company) to step in and tell the team what to re-build. Some people have good product ideas, but are largely drowned out by the executive team forcing people to focus on chasing competitors. Management are also so insecure that they've been pressuring staff into writing positive glass door reviews. Also in all seriousness, the culture around drinking in the company is a problem.
