Pros

One and only 1 Pro: Intelligent people around you who are always willing to help. But watch out, almost everyone's got out of there. People have just got a reason to still be there. Once it is completed, they'll leave too. It's a good place for freshers to gain experience and see how things work in production.

Cons

Here it goes, the big list: 1) No process exists. For anything. 2) Irregular work hours. You might end up working more than 14-18 hours a day depending on your project. This happens only because of the management's inefficiency in planning and communication. Most of the time the work is not even software. You have to lift / carry heavy boxes all around and work in a dusty warehouse. I lost my happy sleep cycle working like that. At the end of the day, its not even worth it. 3) Pay is wayyyyyy below market average. You will get paid at least 20-30% below market value. 4) Highly ineffective higher management. People in the leadership position do not know how things run in the company. 5) People keep quitting the company, never they were (including me) asked what they can do to retain. 6) Decade old technology stack. No personal growth can be achieved here. 7) Too bad interviewing process. Panel interview with 5 people attacking the candidate for more than 2-3 hours non-stop is the worst thing that can happen here. 8) I did not see the company doing any good events or programs that can make employees happy. Everyone is either busy in handling support calls or trying to rush into completing the projects with the improperly planned schedules.

Pros

Reddwerks has a small company feel, which means room to develop or shape process. There are always problems to sink your teeth into, and Reddwerks's breadth of customer means a wealth of insight into a variety of supply chain concepts. Strong benefits package, competitive salaries, free drinks/snacks in the breakroom, and occasional 'happy hours' in-office help take the bite off sometimes-long-hours, crunch times, and other threats to work/life balance that are typical of smaller companies. Most of the staff are very friendly and more than willing to assist. It is an opportunity to work alongside very intelligent, specialized professionals.

Cons

This is a smaller software company with a rapidly growing customer base, which means crunch times can go from tiring to brutal. The pace of operations often results in high turnover for some departments, though the survivors form a fairly rock-solid core. This unfortunately means that specialized product knowledge or expertise can remain precariously dependent on one individual. As such, moving on from a project becomes more difficult. There is no corporate card for travel, which leaves employees fronting travel expenses in an expense reimbursal system.
