Pros

Encouraging, Caring Staff Opportunity to Learn a Ton Excellent Leadership

Cons

Regional One has a great culture, atmosphere, and there is plenty of opportunity for advancement. Unfortunately, I had a supervisor who did not care about these things. She consistently treated me with contempt and disregard. Whenever I submitted my work, I could hear loud sighing and cursing. This was demoralizing and made me feel like I was not valued. There was also favoritism showed for other team members and I was made to feel isolated, alienated, and not valued. I was perceived as a threat to her advancement and progression in the organization and for this I was mistreated. In the end, I had to leave the organization out of concern for my mental health and to avoid further hostile situations. That aside, I do believe this was circumstantial and that Regional One is an excellent organization to work for. My experience with everyone but my immediate supervisor was nothing by positive and encouraging.

Pros

Working here, you will learn a lot. We saw all types of patients with all sorts of conditions.

Cons

· Leadership frequently changes expectations after the fact, making it nearly impossible to meet goals · Managers provide contradictory instructions and later demand "completed" work without acknowledging prior direction · Minimal support is provided despite claims to the contrary, extra staffing is announced but never materializes · Communication is one-sided; when you present documented facts, leadership shuts down discussion rather than engaging · Retaliatory behavior appears to increase after employees submit their resignation
