Pros

Nice benefits and good compensation packages, if you manage to get hired for a FT position. The people are all wonderful to work with, and the students are great, as well!

Cons

There's some slow turn-around in the HR department. Also, it's really hard to get a FT position here, which means you don't qualify for all the benefits that a Full-Timer gets.

Team members who care work very hard and are very supportive. Work is social good and you make a very positive impact on students. Looks good on your resume when you leave or get fired.

Cons

Senior administration compound problems into crises. Senior admin actions encourage infighting and siloing between departments. Huge swathes of staff and faculty, including tenured faculty, are fired every few years. Union support is nonexistent. Taking extended leave will get you fired.
