Great people and teams. Working with a group of super smart people who want to take industry challenges and solve them for customers. Very motivating. Amazing to see five or more modalities being researched or built in parallel - I know of very few companies with this breadth and scale. Interest among your colleagues in solving real world challenges in biomanufacturing - you can work on that here with a group of others working with velocity. Transforming existing site operations within a larger network with new tools and technologies - you’ll learn tools and approaches fast followers will try to replicate for the next 20 years.
Cons
Fit - you should figure out if you want to help make history, work on life saving medicines, etc - this is intense work that is meaningful. That may not be for everyone. It is a start-up so expect longer hours, bringing your builder mode mindset because much of the core of the company is still being built.
