We have several values at Retool and, you’re right, “Retool is a business” is a core value; however, the nuance is that when we optimize for our business (and deliver the most value to our customers) we in turn optimize for our employees. This means we can invest in things like learning and development, growing our team, expanding our health and wellness benefits, and offer much more than many companies of our size and stage in order to hire and retain incredible employees. We’ve worked hard to build the business we have today and we’re invested in attracting employees who are motivated to change the way internal tools are built, but we understand that may not be a core motivator for everyone.
