Pros

-The best part about this place are your immediate co-workers. I really do like the people on my team. -They also do really value your personal family time. If you have a death in the family, a wedding to attend, or any other type of big life event occur, they will always be willing to give you the time off. -Might be a good company to get a good foot in the door, but I would not want to stay here for very long. Unfortunately, that's really where the pros end.

Cons

- Their pay is not good. They start on the low end of what other companies pay and try and justify it by saying they provide snacks and a good culture. I have asked for a raise when given extra work, but have been told I would not be compensated. - Management clearly does not have any proper training in management. In a few situations, I felt as though I was managing the managers. - I don't know how certain people who are in charge can get away with saying a lot of the things they do in front of the entire company or to individuals without getting sued by someone for harassment or inappropriate talk. - This may be small, but I don't understand why they don't move over to a fully causal work environment. - Their benefits package is not good at all. You can tell they try and get the cheapest of everything. -They do not keep records of your performance, and if they pull you aside to talk to you, mainly they just go by what the manager says even if they do not show any actual numbers to back up what they say. - There are really no employee reviews to keep you updated on how you are doing within the company. They encourage the managers to to meet with their employees one on one, but from my experience, even when I ask my manager to tell me what I can work on, he or she said I was doing perfectly fine (which I found out later apparently was not the case, but was never told). I am honestly not trying to bash this company, there are a lot of good people that work here, however, there are just too many things this company does that is just blatantly wrong and is a place I cannot recommend to work.

I want to thank you for taking the time to give us your honest feedback. I am very sorry that your experiences at RevTrak have not matched our intention of being an environment you can trust that provides you challenge and opportunity. We will continue to find ways to improve, but I want to address a few of your specific concerns here. It is always our desire to fairly compensate our employees. There are several factors that we consider as we look compensation; the role itself and the skills required, the market rate for companies our size, and performance. An external HR firm conducts an annual audit of our salaries to ensure we remain competitive. It is our policy to typically give compensation increases on an annual basis and when an employee receives a promotion. When either of those events happen, we look at the three factors listed above and make the salary determination. One of our top priorities for 2017 is “Scaling People.” We are focused on deepening our leadership team’s skills set and equipping them for the tasks ahead. It is true that some managers are relatively new to leading others, but this is because part of our culture is to promote from within and train team members with the skills they need to be successful. We recognize that not everyone is comfortable with this strategy, but we are working hard to raise up managers who can successfully coach and lead their teams. Related to our benefits package, we believe our benefits remain competitive and, in some cases, outpace companies our size. We currently offer a comprehensive benefits package which includes health care options, dental and vision care options, along with a Life insurance policy paid for by RevTrak for each full-time employee. In addition, RevTrak makes a generous pension and profit sharing contribution to employees’ retirement accounts annually. We are always working to live out and improve our culture at RevTrak. I am sorry that our efforts are not meeting your expectations. I am thankful that you took the opportunity to share your thoughts and feelings here so that we can stop and think about the ways we can help you and others feel more valued. We do have an open-door policy, so if you would like to address any of these concerns with me directly, I am happy to meet with you.

Pros

I enjoy working for a company that values autonomy. During previous employment opportunities the majority of the work I did was micro-managed and my satisfaction level was low. Coming to a place like RevTrak was refreshing because I now get to put a large imprint on the work I do and feel it has allowed me to grow as an employee & person.

Cons

Autonomy doesn't work well for employees who are not self-starters and don't give an honest effort. This type of person may try to take advantage of the freedom but will not succeed here. Also, there is no shortage of snacks, candy, soda and people often bring donuts for the office - it's hard to maintain a healthy weight if you have no self-control! It is both a good and a bad thing.
