Layoffs galore No training Work/life balance (there isn't one) If you're exceptional at your job they will just expect more from you for no reward Lack of respect from upper management Pay will be well below market value No support for continued learning They want everyone to go into an office, even during a pandemic Management treats employees like they are dispensable pawns in a game of chess, except in this game the pawns cannot be promoted. Management will sacrifice their pawns by publicly shaming them, ridiculing them for a missed requirement, blaming them for management's own failures, all while working them into the ground so that management can arrive at checkmate. Checkmate in this case represents the biggest bonus that management could get.
