Pros
Competitive benefits; relaxed dress code; reasonable work/life balance; decent place for entry-level hires to get a foot in the door of the industry, but don't plan on staying too long; biostatisticians are given high esteem and pay (but at the expense of most others)
Cons
Very low opportunity for advancement in most groups; low pay compared to competitors; highly uneven distribution of work load, between and within groups; cliquish culture leads to ostracism and bullying, tolerated and even encouraged by the highest levels; frequent abrupt firings at high levels, generally replaced by outside hires; lack of coherent vision for future growth; HR leader and department are there to spy on employees, not help
