Pros

If you're a gamer especially, this can be a really great place to work culturally. A bunch of productive nerds running around trying to make cool stuff for other gamers. Professionally, Riot uses a lot of open source tools so it can be a great place to start a career.

Cons

There is a ton of bloat. As the company has grown, refinement of process has created a lot of barriers and a staff of a huge amount of people who don't really do much.

Pros

The people. So nice, so passionate (albeit in pockets). Benefits! Great insurance and vacation.

Cons

Quite corporate. Rigid structure. There is reluctance to take risks. Difficult to move between projects or roles as a producer.

Pros

Great benefits, pays well, can work on some very interesting problems.

Cons

Work hours are from 10-7 and hardly anyone actually works that, so stuff can move at a snail pace. Getting help from central teams can be painful, especially if they're way off hours. Some of the culture can get a bit overwhelming too and you can end up feeling pretty lonely if you don't drink the koolaid.
