Pros

Comprehensive 9 week training program that gives you everything you need to be successful here - pairs you with a seasoned Sales Trainer who had previously held the BDR role. Training consists of going over the industry intensively (new to most people) and meeting with all of the C level individual of the company. Realistic promotional path which is only judged by hitting metrics. Was promoted within my first 5 months at the company to BDR II increasing OTE by 22%. On track to Senior BDR and increase OTE by 57% within 1 year of employment. Disrupting an industry that has been unchanged for 30 years. Awesome culture that is supportive and wants to see you grow... genuinely. GROWING - can't emphasize this enough. Presently in 16 markets and 10 new market launches planned within the next year and a half. With that comes new job opportunities if you wanna go somewhere else within in the company such as a management or coach role. No layoffs during COVID Uncapped Commission I have said it before, but I will say it again... if you are willing to put in the work and grind (as any job) you will be rewarded. Set two meetings on Friday and you can be done at 1 PM if your KPI's are met. Solid healthcare, vision and dental. Remote until at least 2022, then 1 week out of the month in the office... and I believe 1 week will be optional, but do not quote me.

Cons

Cold calling.... but not really a con as this is sales. Would like to see more mental health benefits.

Pros

Most money I've ever made in this type of role. Manageable workload for the most part, unless you grab too many complex tickets or have things start to go sideways. Great benefits. Fun team atmosphere and culture. Have seen many people on my team get promoted into higher roles so far, so I feel like I can take my path in my own hands and push it as far as I want.

Cons

Disorganized and constantly evolving processes that live and die by "FYI's", many that you only suss out when you come across a new situation. They've tried to codify a lot of processes and have done a good job, but many are still "you need to find out in order to know". No robust task system that is oriented by roles and expectations/capabilities rather than individual's names, which is... ponderous. Need a role to do something? Go look in a directory for the person doing that at the moment (subject to change, may not be updated/old info, person could be on vacation, etc) then send it to them, rather than dropping a task in a bucket that someone assigned to that role sees. The difference sounds small but it's immense in practice. Some of the fees and charges a customer can accrue are difficult to explain because they're nakedly bill stuffing.
